Nov. 29th, 2023 - We said farewell to Juancar. Juancar had a very productive exchange experience in Nijmegen and is returning to Madrid to continue his PhD studies with Javi. Good luck with your future PhD studies, Juancar. We will surely be in touch!
Nov. 24th, 2023 - Evan attended the Bruker BeNeLux User Meeting in Eindhoven and presented operando NMR and EPR methods for studying redox flow batteries.
Nov. 22nd, 2023 - Our old friend Javier Carretero Gonzalez from the polymer composite group CSIC visited us. Javi gave a talk on Scalable Materials for Electrochemical Energy Storage. We had fruitful discussions on our ongoing collaborative projects and opportunities to broaden our collaborations.
Nov. 14th, 2023 - Giu and Evan attended the Lorentz Center Workshop on 2D and layered materials for energy storage. Giu presented her poster on benchtop operando NMR for studying redox flow batteries. Evan talked about operando NMR for studying redox flow battery and ammonia synthesis.

Oct. 17th, 2023 - Thanks to Paula and Rebeca's kind invitation, Evan visited the fantastic battery research facility at IMDEA Energy! He shared his group's research on Understanding redox flow batteries and ammonia synthesis by operando NMR.

Aug. 24th, 2023 - Welcome to Qilei Song from Imperial College London to visit our lab. Qilei and Evan then continue the tour to Antoni Forner-Cuenca's lab at Eindhoven University of Technology, and present to Toni's research group on membranes and operando characterizations of redox flow batteries.
Aug. 23rd, 2023 - Welcome to Helga Dögg Flosadóttir and Magnús Már Guðnason from Atmonia to visit our lab. We had great discussions on ammonia synthesis.
Aug. 21st, 2023 - The CO2 team, Zhiyu, Kaan and Evan, attended IUPAC/CHAINS at the Hague. Zhiyu and Kaan presented their posters on studying electrochemical CO2 reduction via operando NMR. Evan chaired a focus session on redox flow batteries.
Aug. 13th, 2023 - Evan gave a talk on Operando benchtop NMR method for studying redox flow batteries at the ACS NMR symposium in San Francisco. It was great seeing so many old and new NMR friends. Thanks to the organizers, Yanyan, Aaron, Louis, Leah and Kay for the kind invitation.
July 25th, 2023 - Kaan is finishing up his first master's internship project. He and Zhiyu took up the challenges of CO2 reduction. Job well-done, Kaan!

July 7th, 2023 - We are awarded the NWO Open Competition Domain Science - XS fund to develop novel electrolytes for redox flow batteries. Thanks to Noël de Kler from Prof. Jana Roithova's group for the hard work on the proposal.
